Hi, I’m Jane — better known as JaneGuitarQueen, a name gifted by one of my students (thanks, Glen!). I’m a passionate, down-to-earth guitar and bass teacher who’s been helping students hit their musical goals since the early 2000s.

I specialise in electric guitar and bass, but also teach acoustic and classical. Whether you want to rock power chords, groove on bass, strum your favourites, or climb through Rockschool exams, I’ll guide you — at your pace, with your goals in mind.

My lessons are structured, engaging and fun. I adapt to every learning style, building confidence, creativity and resilience along the way. If you need a push, I’ll give it — with a smile and a sense of humour!

I teach ages 6+ in-person, and 10+ online via Zoom, with no upper age limit. I believe anyone can learn an instrument — and my job is to make the journey as enjoyable as the destination.
